Batteries Sold Separately

Homestar Runner figurines are out, as well as a CGNU shirt. Go Dumples!

I got caught napping and missed out, I hope not permanently. Last time I checked, the figurines were all sold out. They went like hotcakes (which they do not smell like, they helpfully point out). I shouldn't spend the money, but if they restock, I don't know that I'll be able to resist.

Added a link to a gentleman that I know as the Prince from the Falcon Forum. He's new to this whole blog thing. We'll see how it goes.

Back in the saddle again...

Been a while since I've posted anything. Probably won't have too much up for a while yet, either. Broke my finger last Friday playing basketball, which makes it tough to type accurately with any speed. (Rather a curious experience, breaking my finger. Second time, though a different finger this time, and it didn't hurt at all. First time it sent me into shock. Granted, I was six years old the first time around, but still.)

Greg over at the PUNCHbowl has been on a tear this past week, which is good to see. Always a good read.

Since Greg brought up books and such, I may as well add that since I last posted I finished President Kennedy: Profile of Power (interesting, Kennedy was much like Clinton, ignorant on foreign policy and motivated almost solely by his libido and his political status), a biography of U.S. Grant called simply Grant (excellent, a well-written exposition of Grant's life; he wasn't in the least the incompetent lush he's commonly thought to be, quite the reverse), C.S. Lewis' The Great Divorce (an enjoyable and informative allegory on Heaven and Hell, very short), several of Wodehouse's Psmith stories The World of Psmith (classic Wodehouse, think Bertie Wooster with brains), and I'm a couple hundred pages into Moby Dick. Further updates as events warrant. I tried to read the Decameron, but I got bogged down and it had to go back to the library unread.
